The Liverpool Plains has a story to tell, and riches to share.
It is a food and fibre-producing powerhouse in NSW; home to incredible ancient landscapes and ecosystems, and rich heritage.
Visit the Liverpool Plains and discover a unique approach to tourism – from farmstays and luxury accommodation, to farm gates, nature experiences, farm tours, conferences, events and workshops – celebrating Australian agriculture, its products and the communities it nurtures.
Stretching from the Liverpool Range at Murrurundi in the south east, up to Tamworth, across to Gunnedah and as far west as Tambar Springs and Mullaley, the Liverpool Plains is as diverse as it is astonishing.
Home to the Kamilaroi people for tens of thousands of years, the area boasts a rich Indigenous heritage which is proudly showcased through local business, attractions, and landmarks.
Our tight-knit communities are open and eager to welcome visitors from near and far – whether it’s for a long weekend, short stay holiday or extended visit. Here, you can witness the notions of “paddock to plate” and “fibre to fashion” come to life, connect with small business doing big things, and get some of the best views of the night sky in the country.
Come for a visit, leave with a new perspective.
